How to Apply – Step by Step
Simple application process through the official portal.

Register on Portal
Create your account on the official PM Surya Ghar portal.

Apply for Rooftop Solar
Fill in the application form and submit required details.

Get Feasibility Approval
DISCOM will review your application and approve feasibility.

Installation by Vendor
After approval, get the system installed by an authorized vendor.

Inspection & Net Metering
System inspection and net meter installation by DISCOM.
6
Subsidy Disbursement
Subsidy will be credited to your bank account after completion.

You may need the following documents while applying:
- Aadhaar Card
- Electricity Consumer Number
- Mobile Number & Email ID
- Bank Account Details (cancelled cheque)
- Recent Electricity Bill
- Property Ownership Proof (as applicable)
Important Points
- The scheme is for residential households only.
- Subsidy is provided by the Central Government as per scheme guidelines.
- Application is to be made on the official Government portal.
- Installation should be done by an authorized vendor.
- Net metering and inspection are required as per DISCOM process.
- Final subsidy amount and eligibility are subject to government approval and verification.
